Hello, I'm Lajos Kovacs, your executive performance strategist.

For over 25 years, I worked in providing Executive Protection for C-Suite leaders and high-net-worth families.

I didn't just ensure their physical safety; I had a front-row seat to their daily reality. I saw the immense pressure, the isolation of command, and the constant demand for decision-making. I learned that for a leader, focus is a safety issue. If you lose situational awareness, you make mistakes.

That experience inspired me to move from protecting clients physically to supporting them mentally.

I trained as a Performance Coach under world-class mentors to master the psychology of achievement. I combined those coaching frameworks with my security background to create a unique approach to personal growth.

My role is to help you run yourself. I act as a strategic partner who helps you audit your time, mitigate the risks of burnout, and build the discipline required to sustain high performance. We move beyond open-ended conversations and use structured frameworks to ensure you show up 'Mission Ready' every day.

What does “Bodyguard of the Mind” actually mean?

For more than 20 years, my job was to protect people physically: executives, high-net-worth individuals, people under real threat. Today, I do something very similar, just in a different domain: I help founders and leaders protect the one asset that drives every decision and every result: their mind.

“Bodyguard of the mind” means we treat your focus, emotional state, energy, and thinking patterns as something worth protecting with the same seriousness as physical security. We identify threats (distraction, overload, self-sabotage, emotional reactivity), then build clear protocols so you can perform at your best, even when the pressure is high.

How is the Executive Performance Protocol different from ‘normal’ coaching?

Most coaching stays in the realm of conversation: goals, reflections, insights. That’s useful, but it often stops at “interesting.”

In the Executive Performance Protocol, we work more like a security operation: we assess your current situation, map out the biggest threats to your performance, and then build specific, brain-based routines and decision frameworks to neutralize them. You’re not just leaving sessions with ideas, you’re leaving with protocols: what to do, when, and how, especially when things get messy in real life.

If you want casual accountability, I’m not your guy. If you want someone who will help you raise your standards and install a more robust mental operating system, that’s what this program is for.

Should I start with one-on-one coaching, the online courses, or The Executive Circle?

It depends on where you are and how much support you want right now.

If you want deep, tailored work on your specific challenges, start with the Executive Performance Protocol. That’s where we go all-in on you, your context, and your results.

If you prefer to start at your own pace, and you want to test my approach while learning practical tools, the online courses (Tactical Training Library) are the best first step. You can implement the ideas immediately without committing to a longer engagement.

If you already have some systems in place, but you know you perform better with regular high-level input, check-ins, and a small circle of like-minded leaders, then The Executive Circle is probably the best fit. Think of it as ongoing mental maintenance and upgrades.

Who is this work not for?

I’m not the right coach for people who just want motivation, quick hacks, or someone to agree with them.

My work is for founders, executives, and serious professionals who are willing to look honestly at their habits, patterns, and blind spots, and then actually do something about them. If you’re not ready to be challenged, to change how you operate day-to-day, or to take responsibility for your own performance, we probably won’t be a good match.

If, on the other hand, you like the idea of treating your mind with the same seriousness as a high-value asset that needs protection and optimization, then you’re exactly the kind of person I built this for.
